House of Worship

House of Worship

The Australian Baha'i Temple, or House of Worship, is a place of prayer and meditation open to people of all beliefs.

We offer it as a gift to the community in line with our belief in the oneness of God, the oneness of His Messengers and the oneness of humanity.

Located in the beautiful hills and bushland above the northern beaches of Sydney, it is one of seven Baha’i Houses of Worship throughout the world. There is one in each continent, plus the Pacific, with the eighth being constructed in Chile, South America.

Each building is designed to be culturally distinctive, the unifying factor being that all are nine-sided – a symbol of the unity of the world religions.

We invite you to visit the House of Worship, which is open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm (7 pm in January), seven days a week, with a special public service on Sundays at 11 am.
